About

Here is a very short introduction for a short person (height not temperament). I am a single mom of a teenaged boy with Asperger’s Syndrome on the Autism spectrum. That means that every day is a new adventure. I get to see the world differently every day. I also must re-evaluate and restudy human behavior every day in order to give my son the tools he needs to navigate through life. I get to see the forgotten beauty all around us and remember simple pleasures like blowing bubbles just to pop them and reading books or watching films together. I’m also a teacher, and I will tell you the hardest part of that job is the adults. 🙂

I hope you enjoy reading my thoughts. I will try to keep it up-to-date, but I make no promises. My goal is to focus on turning “impossible” into “I’m possible.” I will try to post regular “Mama musings” and “Thoughtfully Thankful” posts. I might even post the occasional “Teachable Moment.”

You know, now that I think about it, I guess you could say that I’m a superhero.   😉
